The personalized microsite displayed dynamic content based based on the customer's account data. The fan was greeted with a team photo from the year they first became a season ticket holder and were alerted of special discounts on their account.
The general market portion of the project featured an flash element of rotating tiles displaying some memorable photos/personalities from the franchise's history. This engaging feature led to increased page views and positive buzz for the brand and spread the sales message beyond traditional season ticket holders.
The design of Planet Orange features several widgets pulling in RSS feeds of content such as latest photos and video in addition to widgets displaying the latest tweets. It relies heavily on CSS to make sure the the template and the vendor-provided content blend seamlessly.
As fans became more "plugged in" with their social sites of choice, Planet Orange continued to evolve into a landing page for all of the Suns interactive efforts to connect fans with the brand via Twitter, Facebook, and FourSquare in addition to the original Planet Orange social network.

Managing e-marketing campaign is a constant conversation with your audience. Monitoring email opens and clicks to learn what is revelant to your subscribers. While gimmicks may achieve short-term success, it should not come at the expense of the organization's long term relationship with its customers.
A subject line might entice a person to open an email once, but the right goal is consistently placing a quality product in their inbox so that seeing your name in the "From" field is all that is needed.
